One&All FAQs

What qualifications does an osteopath have?

In Australia, osteopaths undertake 5-years of full-time study with a 3-year Undergraduate Degree in Clinical Science and a 2-year Master’s Degree in Health Science. Osteopaths are required by law to be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Physiotherapists complete either a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or a 2-year Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy, accredited by a recognised institution. This education integrates theoretical and practical training in various areas, including sports, paediatrics, and women’s health. Additionally, physiotherapists must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and often pursue further specialisations in specific fields.

Remedial massage therapists are required to obtain a Diploma in Remedial Massage, which typically involves a comprehensive study of anatomy, physiology, and specialised massage techniques. Following their formal education, they must also become members of recognised professional associations that maintain ethical standards and promote continuous professional development. Registration with relevant authorities ensures adherence to industry standards and practices.

Clinical pilates instructors obtain a Certification in Pilates Instruction, encompassing extensive training in pilates methodologies, frequently with an emphasis on clinical or therapeutic applications. In addition, these professionals typically have educational backgrounds in fields related to movement or health sciences, such as physiotherapy or exercise science.

Patients with a GP Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly EPC) may be eligible for a Medicare rebate per session, for up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year. A valid GP referral is required, and the rebate does not cover the full consultation fee.

Please bring along any x-rays, scans (e.g. MRI, ultrasound, CAT), and blood test results you may have regarding the relevant concern.

We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move easily during your session. Depending on your treatment, specific clothing may be advised. Gowns and shorts are also available at the clinic if you need to change.

We recommend you arrive 10 minutes early to your initial consultation as you will be required to fill out a new patient form, and thoroughly read and sign an informed consent form.

Your initial session runs for 30–40 minutes for Osteopathy and Physiotherapy. It includes a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and hands-on treatment where appropriate. You will receive a personalised treatment plan, explanation of findings, and initial self-management strategies or exercises. All clinical notes are documented to support continuity of care.

For Remedial Massage, each session includes a focused assessment, hands-on treatment, and post-treatment guidance tailored to your presenting concerns. Remedial Massage session options are 60 minutes for $130, 75 minutes for $155, and 90 minutes for $175.

We accept cash, cards, and bank transfer (if needed), and payment is required on the day.
